EB WORCESTER WILL BE MOVING SEPTEMBER 9th, 2009
After more than 13 years at our 64 West Boylston St. location, Eastern Boarder Worcester will be moving across town to a brand new spot at 358 Shrewsbury St. We will be opening up at the new shop on Wednesday September 9th, 2009. We've had lots of fun times over the years at 64 WBS, and loads of great memories. It even makes us a little sad to be leaving our longtime spot, but the new place we're moving to is crazy nice and we're going to be taking everything to the next level over there (Get ready for the new "Skate Bar"). Plus it is easy to get to, has tons of skatespots nearby, and a big ol' fresh parking lot to hold demos, contests and events in. (
Be sure to check out Marc Johnson, Mike Mo, Beibel and the rest of the Matix skate team when they stop at the new EB Worcester shop on September 25th for a demo/in-store appearance!)
Eastern Boarder's Worcester shop has been the cornerstone of the city's Skate, Snowboard & BMX scene for almost 17 years. We first opened back in November 1992 on the corner of Richmond Ave. next to the legendary Wootown hot spot The Coffee Kingdom. After spending a few years there, the shop started to outgrow the location and in the Spring of 1996 made the move over to the much larger space at 64 West Boylston St. Now, after 13 great years on West Boylston St. we are making moves once again... this time to our brand new epic spot at 358 Shrewsbury St.
We all look forward to kicking off the next chapter in the history of Eastern Boarder Worcester. You can be sure that even though we will be in a new spot, EB Worcester will remain THE place to go in Worcester to find all the best of Skate, Bike and Snowboard products & accessories, as well as loads of the skate shoes & clothing that you need.
