Check out a couple of OG Eastern Boarder TV commercials from back around 1999-2000 that I came across on an old hard drive of mine while I was searching for some "Last Call" contest footage from past years... -TEO

March Mayhem!!!
March is a sad time in the world of snowboarding. The snow is starting to melt, mountains are closing, and the end of another season is upon us again. Not to worry! March also brings us shorter lift lines, less weekend warriors, blue bird slush days, and 2 weeks packed with awesome events worth checking out. March hasn't hit us yet, but in order to have the full experience you defiantly need to save some gas / lift ticket money.
March 14- Shop Showdown @ Loon Mtn.
March 15-20- The US Open of Snowboarding @ Stratton Mountain (not to mention my birthday the 20th)
March 19 - The Washed Up Cup @ Stratton Mountain
March 23- Back to the Boneyard @ Waterville Valley
March 23- Word Quarters @ Timber Ridge (not positive if this contest is going on yet)
March 24- The one and only EASTERN BOARDER'S LAST CALL @ LOON MTN ( don't miss this one, 10th Year Anniversary)
March 27- The Joey Jam @ Okemo Mtn.
Cash in those beer cans, get an oil change, and wax your snowboard with some ASS WAX, because you shoud live on the road these two weeks. See you there. -AUGER

Back to the Boneyard ll!
Pat Moore and Waterville Valley Present...
Back to the Boneyard II
Call in sick to work, play hooky from school, leave food out for Thunderpuss, and be at Waterville Valley on Tuesday, March 23rd for the 2nd Annual Back to the Boneyard! Last year was a wicked good time and there is no doubt that the second installment will be even better. It’s a celebration of snowboarding, old and new for all with a hunger for shredding or a thirst for lurking.
There will be a BBQ, raffle, mini ramp skating, PBR après party and Red Bull after-after party, with the like of Pat Bridges, Bill Enos, Ben Newton and Pat Moore. Multiple features and events will be built to shred in a new contest format. The Pat Bridges cigarette race, the Bill Enos Giant Slalom are just two of the new events planned for the event. Prizes will be awarded to each rider category from event sponsors Volcom, Special Blend, Foursquare, Forum, Eastern Boarder, Electric and Red Bull. Also new for this year’s event riders could be crowned the King of the Boneyard for exceptional riding on each feature. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Pat Moore Foundation, helping kids reach their goals in snowboarding through the Waterville Valley Snowboard Team. So bring your spring gloves… or your powder mitts because its New Hampshire and no one can really predict what will happen. Registration for the event will be $20 per rider and run 8-10am at the Event Yurt with all proceeds going to the Pat Moore Foundation.

Lots of snow!
Whens the last time you needed to use your snowboard to dig the car out? There's a ton of snow in VT right now 20-26 inches today alone with more on the way. We scored awesome powder runs this morning at Stratton MT. Get up there and get some! -SPK

At Least You Don't Have to Worry About This at a Snowboard Contest
About two-dozen spectators at last week's Mavericks surf contest out in Northern CA found themselves a little bit closer to the big wave action than they expected to be when a "rogue wave" came rolling up and washed over the lower viewing area...
At least you don't have to worry about anything like that while watching a snowboard contest. The most you might have to look out for is maybe something like this... -TEO

Gold Brickin' :: Emerica Hsu Gaudy
The Oxford English Dictionary defines the word "Gaudy" as:
Gaudy • adjective (gaudier, gaudiest) extravagantly or tastelessly bright or showy.
I certainly would not describe the new Emerica Hsu Gaudy in this way at all... more like they are a new version of Jerry Hsu's popular mid-hi pro model shoe, that is available now at EB and is made using all high grade, premium leather & materials.
More poignantly however, as the Notorious Y.I.M. might put it "...We be Gold Brickin' now Son!!"

Time travel is possible! 2011 Capita graphics
In the movie "Back to the Future" Doc Brown built a time machine out of a Delorean. Ryan Auger out classed him by using a Mercury Sable. Most people would travel through time to see the future and how we're all going to live, the achievements of man kind, maybe get the lotto numbers but not Auger he just wanted to see next years Capita graphics. The good news is the graphics are sick! The bad news, still no hoverboards. -SPK

Little Miss Molly Fund
The Molly Fund was established to help Molly and her family fight her cancer, after she passed her family was inspired to help other families that where up against the same battle.
"Molly's legacy will continue and there will be some good that will surface from Molly's death. Her battle with cancer sparked the love of a community and thousands of people have rallied behind Molly, as well as our family, throughout this entire ordeal. Molly has taught us many things throughout this journey. We understand too well how very precious life is and we have come to redefine the priorities in all of our lives. Suddenly, we are able to find more time to spend with our families. We hug each other more tightly, kiss each other more passionately, and we're focused on being better parents....better people. Molly's fight has also taught us the importance of helping others. We have been blessed with an incredible amount of support, from friends, family, and strangers alike, and it's clear to us now that Molly's legacy - the Molly Fund - will remain in place in order to help other families endure the financial strain while they are helping their child battle cancer." From Molly's father Buck Rowlee
