Girls Camp

The brainchild of Waterville Valley team rider, Colleen Quigley, The Ladies Room is an all girls snowboard camp for ages 8+. This unique camp features coaching from top female professional snowboarders, that include Hana Beaman, Jacqui Berg, Desiree Melancon, Iris Lazz and a special guest to be named later. The Ladies Room will cater to all levels of female snowboarders with a focus on terrain park riding. Whether you are learning how to approach a double barrel rail or dialing a frontside 180 off a medium-sized tabletop jump, The Ladies Room will teach you all you need to know.

The two-day price will be $235 and includes all day coaching, breakfast, lunch, prize packs and giveaways from sponsors: Burton Snowboards, EasternBoarder, Nikita, Snowboarder Mag, Oakley, Dakine, Red Bull, Air Blaster, A.S.S Industries and Zinka . Mr. Pickle is angry again... now he feels he's being exploited in the name of cool snowboard technology. The new Gnu Park Pickle was unveiled at the North American sales meeting for Gnu Snowboards. The Patent Pending Proprietary Park Pickle Product will be included in the 09/10 Gnu Snowboard line. Based on the idea that heelside turns require more leverage than toeside turns, the Park Pick will have a deeper sidecut on the heelside. The board is a true twin shape with a centered stance so it can be ridden with either goofy or regular and includes Mervin Mfg’s exclusive use of Banana Technology.

Today is Veterans Day, Show Some Respect

Today some of you don't have school, some don't have to work, but there are some that don't get to come home, some that can't walk any more, some that miss their loved ones, some that have nightmares every night, and their are many more who fought for our country. Today is a day to remember these men and women and take pause to think about the sacrifices that they have really made for their country.

It's not just another day off.

Cavan In New ECS Mag

If you've been coming to the EB Worcester shop long enough, you may know John Cavan. Cavan worked here at the shop a number of years back & left to pursue a career in making snowboard vids. After starting off with the "Iron Curtain" series of East Coast snowboard flicks, he went on to work for Grenade, helping them put together such shred flick classics like "Night of the Living Shred", "Revenge of the Grenerds", and "Smell The Glove". He is now Rome's go-to video guy, and was behind Rome's "Any Means" video as well as their latest epic production "No Correct Way"

The latest issue of East Coast Snowboarding magazine features a good interview with John in which he tells a little bit about his job & what goes on behind the scenes during the making of a snow vid.
