Cavan In New ECS Mag

If you've been coming to the EB Worcester shop long enough, you may know John Cavan. Cavan worked here at the shop a number of years back & left to pursue a career in making snowboard vids. After starting off with the "Iron Curtain" series of East Coast snowboard flicks, he went on to work for Grenade, helping them put together such shred flick classics like "Night of the Living Shred", "Revenge of the Grenerds", and "Smell The Glove". He is now Rome's go-to video guy, and was behind Rome's "Any Means" video as well as their latest epic production "No Correct Way"

The latest issue of East Coast Snowboarding magazine features a good interview with John in which he tells a little bit about his job & what goes on behind the scenes during the making of a snow vid. Rome premiere this weekend

Rome Snowboards is premiering "No Correct Way" Sunday Sept. 14th. Check out the flier for more details. Marie France Roy and LNP are going to be around the Natick shop this Sunday before the premier in Boston. At some point possibly signing some stuff. So if you want your picture taken with the best female snowboarder alive or if you want LNP to sign your blouse head over to Natick and while your there you can save big money on snowboard gear because Natick is having their TENT SALE this weekend also.

VHS, you remember that big square thing under your parents TV

Since Mack Dawg is releasing Double Decade this year Scott and I thought we'd stroll down memory lane, after digging around we found the old shop copy of Decade on VHS! So I popped in and wouldn't you know it the damn thing had to be rewound. After popping it out and rewinding it in the rewinder (cause you can't rewind in the vcr you'll wreck the motor you dumb ass) we popped it back in, adjusted the tracking and we're off. Decade was the 10 year anniversary for MDP and had some ground breaking parts from Peter Line, Mikey LeBlanc, and Bjorn Leines. Oh yeah it was Rated S for SSSiiiiiiiiiiiicCckkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!! No seriously it says so right on the box. Which by the way is big enough to be full of Captin Crunch. So sit back and enjoy this clip from days gone by. Be sure to check out Double Decade this fall and remember be kind and rewind.
