R.I.P. Shoe Wall Mini-Ramp
If you've been in the shop lately or have been reading the blog, you know that we just re-designed and renovated the whole shoe wall area of the shop. As a result of the changes, we had to take out the always popular micro-mini-ramp that has been over by the shoes for years. While we were sad to see it go, a few guys had a chance to ride it one last time before the deconstruction was complete...

OMG! Last Call was sick.
I only took two pics at Last Call but they sum up my two days there, besides the ridding part. I didn't even watch the contest because the snow was so good. I just rode all day. But I'm pretty sure someone won, someone lost, and every body had a great time. Check the EB site for contest results and pics.-SPK
Lex won these, courtesy of ASS WAX, by falling really hard on a Mctwist.
Some type of perverted baseball game using snowboard equipment and requires you to take your pants off. It's real only fun after drinking all the beers pictured above ?

EAST in the west
Worcester's newest recruit Bryan B is in the middle of a two week trip to Cali. With Mammoth and Tahoe on the list he's got a lot to shred. He just sent in these photos of some backcountry jibbing at Mammoth. They shralped the tree till there was nothing but a stump left. Leaving only one option, the obligatory tail block shot.

Out of all the days of busy sales or just big business period, TEO has to get his iced coffee, as everyone's probably seen. But today is the first time I have seen TEO without his coffee, so if anyone reads this today, bring TEO a Dunkin Donuts XL rasberry and coconut iced coffee with milk and 2 sugars!! -Tyler

I like my ramps soft, like teddy bears
Curtis brought his new ride by and got it hooked up with a sick Thule rack (yeah we sell Thule here). Now he can haul around all his friends, bikes, and junk and stuff and junk and things. It gets 38mpg so he'll have no problem driving to Woodward to pretend to do real tricks on fake ramps.

They'rrre Baaack !
As always, the World Quarters define what it means to be an “open” event. It’s simple, really: anyone and everyone who shows up can ride, period. Whether you are a top pro who just won a halfpipe contest the day before or you are a local shred from a shop down in Massachusetts, just drop in if you want to. No bibs, no qualifying, no team managers to get you on the list, no entry fee—none of that bullshit. Just get yourself there, brave the Gauntlet, and ride until you claim first place or get the shoulder tap.
The World Quarters are going down at Timber Ridge, the Waker family’s private resort on the backside of Magic Mountain in Londonderry, Vermont. According to Snowboarder Magazine’s Pat Bridges, Tim Waker is shaping what will be the best quarterpipe that the event has ever seen. And this year, in addition from the main-stage contest on the quarterpipe, there will be a couple “side stages” off to the sides to throw down your creative mini-shred.
The event will go down on Sunday and Monday, March 23rd and 24th. Instead of pretending to be Sir Lancelot at the Renaissance Fair down the road at Stratton on Sunday, March 23rd, riders can head over to Timber Ridge on the backside of Magic Mountain and shred and party in the warm-up sessions. Then on Monday, March 24th, the Finals will go down with mayhem on the Quarterpipe, fire jumping, Gauntlet, and after-party.
Where: Timber Ridge private resort on the backside of Magic Mountain
When: March 23rd and 24th (Sunday and Monday)
The World Quarterpipe Championships are made possible by Pat Bridges, Mark Sullivan, the Rome SDS, Red Bull, Timber Ridge’s Waker family, and all the riders who show up for the revelry in riding. This was stolen from Snowboardermag.com

Super Mario Air Max
Sneakers have become a new hot item to collect, but I don't really get it. I mean, they're shoes, and they're shoes that you take such good care of you never wear them? What's the point? There's only one way a pair of kicks should be seen as that valuable, and that's if they've got a Nintendo crammed inside of them. I always liked Duck Hunt, just saying. -SPK

Inside the mother ship
One of the many cool things that happened while on my recent trip to the northwest, I was lucky enough to go to the Spacecraft intergalactic head quarters. They made me tear all the film out of my camera before I left, but I convinced Steve to sneak a roll out in his ass. Thanks Steve. -SPK
Bathroom news
Our bathroom is gross, it's probably more gross then ever! There's even blood on the floor, no seriously I can't even put a pic up because you'd puke. You should come see it. While your down here check out your new vans. -SPK

Under The Knife
It all started back at the end of June last year (on Go Skateboarding Day, no less). We were having a cookout & skate jam up at the Greenhill Skatepark in Worcester, and during a break from cooking up some dogs on the grill, I took a few runs in the bowl. While bailing out of a Smith grind gone wrong, I must have planted my foot on the tranny weird or something because I felt my knee bend kinda strangely, and fell to the ground. A couple of weeks & a few X-rays/MRI's later I got the bad news... I had torn the ACL in my right knee. The ACL is one of the main ligaments that holds your knee together, and I was told that if I had it repaired, I would be on crutches for like 5-6 weeks and the full recovery time was like 5-6 months. I put off having the surgery, knowing that the Back-to-School, Tent Sale and Holiday times at the store were extra busy & I didn't want to be hobbling around during them. This time of the year is a little more relaxed at the shop, so I decided to go "under the knife" and have my knee fixed up at the end of last week. Everything went well, and I as long as I keep up with the rehab & exercise program they will be putting me on I should be back on the board hopefully by mid-summer. I can't wait! I haven't skated since I got hurt, and didn't get to snowboard at all this season. Don't take it for granted: GET OUT THERE AND RIDE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!! -TEO

Buddy checks out the knee brace
Watching TV, a few percs, an ice coffee & a big machine to move my leg around... couldn't be better!
My knee doesn't feel so "swell" right now...
