RYAN JOUBERT SLOPESTYLE CLASSIC

So here we go again with another fun slopestyle event for all at Wachusett on the 7th. Head to head riding for cash and prizes. We'll pick a few of the better features in their park to session on for a while ..keep things loose, give out some stuff, have a little pizza, and call it a day. Ryan Joubert was a great kid and friend of many in the area. His passing a few years back isn't forgotten. The Joubert family was the driving force in creating the Ryan C Joubert Memorial Skatepark in Fitchburg too. So come on out, take a few runs and have a few laughs with EB and the crew from Wachusett Mountain. Please make it on time for registration so we get going on schedule.

Ladies Room Follow Up...

So back in January Waterville Valley hosted The Ladies Room, a two day girls only snowboard camp. The whole thing was put together by EB's own Colleen Quigley and featured guest pros Hana Beaman, Desiree Melancon, Iris Lazz, Jacqui Berg.

Elderly Mafia @ Mount Snow

Elderly Mafia recently went up to Mount Snow for Sofa King New England contest. The conditions were awesome and the park was even better. If you haven't heard Mount Snow has turned Carinthia mountain into one gigantic park, and with the Dew Tour course still up you can shred the pro set ups. Heres a few pics from our day.-Bryan

Women ride pipe

At this point the women's pipe comps are way more fun the watch than the mens. These girls are ripping and they're starting to go big boosting airs over the 10ft mark. Kelly Clark even threw a 900 at about 10ft that resulted in hefty face smack. Gretchen Bleiler went for a big 900 also resulting in a heavy slam knocking her out of 1st place and out of the comp. The reason it's more fun to watch is because these girls are progressing and trying new things pushing the limits in the comp and as a spectator you get to be part of the experience. -SPK

Deep Freeze !!!!!

Don't get left out in the cold! We're in the thick of winter now for sure there is snow on the ground, a chill in the air and the shralping is the best it's been all year. EB has all the stuff you need to stay warm in the cold this weekend. We have the latest first layer from FourSquare, Essa, and Burton including there new DryRide hoodies and flannels. Just remember cotton kills in the cold so if your still rocking the old white long johns Grandma gave you it's time to upgrade. -SPK

Third Annual Reloonion

Every year a bunch of Plymouth State rippers past and present visit the slopes at Loon. I wasn't there this year but Andre´ Beriau, former EB Worcester member and Plymouth State attendee was. So here it is.

Three years ago 9:30 a.m. meant a mid morning, hangover laden pee break from bed with hopes of hitting the hill by 11 a.m. for the now, careerists and college graduates of Plymouth State University. Three years later not much has changed for the current undergrads at PSU but, the Alums who plagued Loon Mountain years back, arrived on Fri.
