Here it is, what you've been waiting for the 2012 KOTW VIDEO. Huge thanks to Marc O'Malley for the edit and everyone who participated. I have to say the end part has the perfect feel for what king of the worm week means to everyone in it. Thanks and make sure to keep an eye out come July for 2013 KOTW dates.

EVENTS : KOTW UPDATE

The footage for KOTW is suppose to be finished, uploaded, and emailed by midnight night tonight, due to the storm and the fact that a bunch of people don't have power we've extended the deadline to 8/30 tuesday night at midnight. This should give everyone more that enough time to get it ready. For those of you who already sent us your footage you can work on it more if you want and resubmit by Tuesday its your call. Send all footage links with the teams name and members to EBKOTW@gmail.com

KING OF THE WORM is ON!

1. What is King of the Worm? (KOTW) It's a scavenger hunt in which you use your skate skills and city knowledge to earn points for your team. The team with the most point's (and video proof) at the end of the week is crowned King of the Worm. It's just like Thrasher's King of the Road except it's in Worcester and you can actually do it.

2.. What do I need for KOTW? Balls of steel, a video camera, and a few friends to form a team. Teams get points on completed challenges. Not editing skills. You don't have to make a totally sick video. However, the footage will need to be on Disc and in .movie or AVI format.

3. How many people can be on a team? At least 2 no more than 5 ( A 6th teammate is allowed for filming only )

4. When does KOTW start? Challenges will be handed out at on Sunday Aug 1st @ 4:00pm. You must show up to get your top secret package. Your video entries must be in by Thursday Aug 12th @ 6:00 pm

5. The "Kings" will be crowned on a later date ( to be announced ) at EB Worcester with a viewing of highlights from the whole week.

It shoud be as follows:

K.O.T.W. is coming up Aug 1st and we need your help. We are still in the process of making the list of tricks and challenges and YOU can have some input on the list.

If you have any good ideas for tricks please send them to eb.kotw@gmail.com

Try to keep the list to no more than 15 tricks.

REMEMBER: All challenges must be IN Worcester (no surrounding towns). Tricks can be at a certain spot (ex. Do an ollie down the D.C.U. 12 stair), or the trick can be a general trick at no certain spot (ex. Ollie up at least 4 stairs).

Get creative, the best tricks submitted will be the ones that make it to the official list.

Leemans Back

So Mark Leeman is back from VB and has the best hat I've ever seen. He got back just in time to jump on a team for KOTW. The kid doesn't miss a beat. -SPK
